Request for Proposals from Creative Agencies

Introduction

The Secretariat of the Tropical Forest Alliance is soliciting proposals from creative agencies to create a suite of core marketing materials, marketing materials to support upcoming events and the design the TFA Annual Report in digital and print formats. The marketing materials and Annual Report should utilize the existing TFA 2020 brand and adhere to TFA brand guidelines.

 

Proposals should be submitted by end of day 8 January. The TFA 2020 Secretariat will begin reviewing proposals on 9 January 2019. Proposals received at later date may not be considered.

 

Context

Tropical Forest Alliance (TFA) is a global multistakeholder partnership working to remove deforestation from global commodity supply chains, focusing on palm oil, beef, soy, and pulp and paper. The Alliance convenes over 150 partners from around the world representing government, the private sector and civil society and aims to foster collaborative action and catalyze partnerships to help companies achieve zero-deforestation commitments. The Secretariat of TFA is hosted at the World Economic Forum in the Geneva and is funded by the Governments of Norway, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.

 

Deliverables

  1. Campaign Development

Develop a creative Campaign to promote TFA deforestation-free agenda and Forest Agenda

  • Develop products linked to thematic message house
  • Asset creation
  • Proposed global/regional activation
  • Content strategy development and push via agreed media channels

2. Core Marketing Materials

At a minimum, the suite of materials needs to include:

  • Basic TFA 2020 flyer / brochure
  • TFA 2020 powerpoint template
  • Social Media Assets
  • We welcome other suggestions; execution will depend on budget

3. Event Collateral

  • Design of backdrops and banners for upcoming events
  • Promotional flyers / posters
  • We welcome other suggestions; execution will depend on budget

4. Annual Report 2018-2019

Specifications: The design should be reader-friendly, image-rich (relying primarily on stock photography) and consistent with TFA 2020 branding guidelines. Content and translations will be provided by TFA 2020.

5. Website Revamp

We are looking for an innovative platform not just a website.

  • Website Development, Design & Activation

Timeline: We will work together to develop a timeline.

 

Submission Guidelines

Interested creative agencies should submit a proposal to the TFA 2020 Secretariat by email to sharon.anderes@weforum.org. There is no prescribed format for the proposal, but it should include the following information:

  • Examples of relevant work
  • Clarification of relevant experience and any information on why the agency would be a good fit to work with TFA
  • Clarification of the full range of competencies of the agency
  • Details and qualifications of the team that would be assigned to this project
  • The proposal may include some potential ideas for additional marketing materials
  • A budget

 

Proposals should be submitted by end of day 8 January 2018.
